Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huey Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balzac Tzovalzeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Balzac Tzovalzeck!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tzovalzeck closes the distance but Stokes moves to the side
and Stokes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tzovalzeck moves in looking to clinch but Stokes pushes him off.
Stokes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tzovalzeck circles away.

Stokes throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tzovalzeck tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stokes is in Tzovalzeck's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Stokes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tzovalzeck looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stokes's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Stokes is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Tzovalzeck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stokes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stokes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tzovalzeck looking for a guillotine here but Stokes defends easily.
Tzovalzeck wants to sweep here but Stokes controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stokes is stalling in the full guard.
Tzovalzeck is trying to keep Stokes in close.
Stokes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Tzovalzeck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stokes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stokes content to stall in guard here.

Tzovalzeck working for a triangle but Stokes defends it easily.
Stokes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Stokes wants to control from the top but Tzovalzeck keeps moving.

Stokes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tzovalzeck dives on top into guard.

Tzovalzeck should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tzovalzeck got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stokes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tzovalzeck has managed to get both his arms back between Stokes's legs - danger averted.
Tzovalzeck is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Tzovalzeck sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stokes's guard.

Stokes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tzovalzeck on the ground.
Tzovalzeck thows a huge punch but Stokes dodges it nicely.

Tzovalzeck is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Stokes is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
