Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tagir Dakhadaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale Timpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tagir Dakhadaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dale Timpson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timpson tries for a takedown but Dakhadaev circles away easily
and Dakhadaev counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Timpson avoids the body shot from Dakhadaev.
Despite the aggression on Timpson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Dakhadaev leaves Timpson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Timpson moves into the clinch.
Dakhadaev swings wildly with an uppercut but Timpson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dakhadaev blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee is keeping an eye on Timpson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Timpson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Timpson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dakhadaev but Dakhadaev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tagir Dakhadaev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dale Timpson.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dakhadaev, as that shot connected.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Timpson.
Dakhadaev swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Timpson throws a leg kick which misses Dakhadaev's front leg but catches the back leg as Dakhadaev tries to avoid it.

Dakhadaev blocks the body kick.
Timpson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dakhadaev lands a slapping body shot.
Dakhadaev lands a really nice looking cross but Timpson seems unphased.
Timpson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dakhadaev is fending him off so far but Timpson persists. Nope, Dakhadaev circles away and we're back to standing.

Timpson gets a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dakhadaev wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Timpson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dakhadaev misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dakhadaev struggles to land a body shot inside as Timpson controls his hands.
Dakhadaev swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dakhadaev looking to stall.

Timpson pulls guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Timpson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dakhadaev can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Timpson pushes Dakhadaev off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Timpson defending well as Dakhadaev loads up on a big left hand.

Timpson moves into range and clinches up with Dakhadaev.
Timpson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dakhadaev after a bit of a struggle.
Dakhadaev can't find room to land a body shot as Timpson controls the action.
Dakhadaev throws a head punch that misses.

Timpson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Dakhadaev won't allow Timpson to sweep him here.
Timpson is pulling down on Dakhadaev's head to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Timpson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Dakhadaev has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Timpson is still trying to improve position.
Dakhadaev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Timpson on the ground.

Timpson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dakhadaev doesn't manage to clinch there - Timpson circles away.
Dakhadaev lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Timpson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dakhadaev defends well and Timpson ends up having to push Dakhadaev into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dale Timpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dakhadaev on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A big right from Dakhadaev misses.
Dakhadaev cracks Timpson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tagir Dakhadaev will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Timpson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dakhadaev, pushing him back against the cage.

Timpson decides to pull guard.
Timpson keeping moving, preventing Dakhadaev from controlling successfully.
Timpson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dakhadaev manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dakhadaev controls Timpson momentarily but Timpson frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Timpson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dakhadaev is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Timpson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Timpson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Timpson decides to stand and escape the position.
Dale Timpson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Nice takedown defense from Dakhadaev. No joy for Timpson on that attempt.
A jab from Dakhadaev finds it's way through Timpson's defenses.
Tagir Dakhadaev is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Timpson closes the distance and clinches.
Timpson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dakhadaev swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Timpson wants to take the fight to the mat but Dakhadaev manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Timpson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A quick step to the side and Dakhadaev tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dakhadaev lunges at Timpson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Timpson's hand.
Dakhadaev just misses with a punch to the body.
Dakhadaev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Timpson.
Tagir Dakhadaev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dale Timpson.

Timpson closes the distance and clinches.

Dakhadaev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Timpson darts in looking for a takedown but Dakhadaev gets double underhooks and turns Timpson into the cage.
Timpson is breathing heavily.
Dakhadaev lands the left hand.
Timpson ducks under a wild hook from Dakhadaev.
Timpson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dakhadaev pinned against the cage. Dakhadaev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dakhadaev lands a nice shot that snaps Timpson's head back.

Timpson clinches.
Timpson blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Timpson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dakhadaev ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dakhadaev tries to clinch but Timpson is having none of it.

Timpson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tagir Dakhadaev dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Dakhadaev drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Timpson's head, knocking him out cold! Dakhadaev is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tagir Dakhadaev!
