Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Varg Veide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by The House of The Rising Sun - The Animals. Veide is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bachman-Turner Overdrive - Taking Care of Business. Varg Veide has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

34 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Varg Veide!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker checks a leg kick.
Parker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Parker lands in his opponent's guard.
Parker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Veide, up you get!
Parker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Veide swings wildly with an uppercut but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Veide misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Veide misses with a body punch.
Veide tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Veide fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Parker is trying to break the clinch but Veide has him pressed against the cage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Parker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Veide counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Veide.

Veide pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Veide tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parker swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Parker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Veide throws a jab when Parker was well out of range.

Parker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Veide cracks the inside of Parker's front leg.
Parker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Veide to score with a decent uppercut.
Parker has his takedown stuffed
and Veide counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Parker thinking.
Varg Veide is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Parker jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Parker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Veide.

Veide throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Veide fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Veide uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Parker has time to react.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Parker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Parker throws a nice looking combination but Veide bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Parker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Parker is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Veide's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Veide closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Veide cracks Parker with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Parker looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Veide finish him?
Parker is rocked!
Veide instigates a clinch.
Oh Parker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Veide tries to bum rush Parker with a series of wild strikes but Parker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Veide throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Veide throws a lazy right hand but Parker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Good leg kick by Veide there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Parker is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Parker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

As Veide looks to move away, Parker throws a big counter combo but Veide just gets out of the way.
Parker moves forwards but Veide connects with a nice, crisp jab.
