Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Kish!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kish misses with a takedown

and Bob counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bob.
Bob prevents Kish from getting back to his feet.
Kish keeping moving, preventing Bob from controlling successfully.

Kish has his foot on Bob's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bob works his way back into a safe position though.
Kish is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kish wants to control the position but Bob says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kish pulls Bob in to control the position.
Bob looking to sit in guard and control but Kish gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kish stays in close to Bob's body and controls the position.
Kish is standing up over Bob. Bob looks to escape but Kish dives into side control.
Kish staying calm.
Bob is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Kish is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bob is squirming around, avoiding Kish's attempts to control the action.
Kish sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Kish cracks Bob with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bob tries to get out of the position.
Kish lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bob is trying to escape the mount.
Kish fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kish controlling the pace for now.

Kish landing strikes from the mount and Bob is in trouble!
Bob wants to control but Kish is having none of it.
Kish with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Kish lands a couple of good shots and Bob has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Kish tries to keep control of the position but Bob is staying busy.
Bob is trying to get back to his feet but Kish has full control of the position and if anything, Bob has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Bob is really stuck here.
Kish scores with punches to the body.
Bob is breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A left and a right from Bob both land. Nice combination.

Bob is trying to maintain a safe position but Kish gets an underhook and turns Bob into the cage.

Kish wants to stand up but Bob is controlling him.
Kish is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kish throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Bob cracks Kish with a solid left hand.
Kish not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bob wants to control from the top but Kish keeps moving.
Kish has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kish looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bob passes into side control.
Kish manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Bob is looking to get back to is feet but Kish passes into side control.
Bob takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Kish lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bob is pushing Kish's head away, looking to escape. Kish manages to hold on to the position though.
Bob tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Kish easily slips into full mount!
Bob is trying desperately to improve position.
Kish avoids the attempt from Bob to control.

Bob tries to lock up and control but Kish gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bob tries to buck Kish off but Kish takes his back!

Brian Kish showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bob looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Kish is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bob scores with a couple of nice shots.
Well, if Bob is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kish manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kish has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bob can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Brian Kish has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bob is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kish has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bob is looking to defend but Kish has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bob! Kish pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bob taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Brian Kish!
A relieved looking Brian Kish thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
