These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stedman slips under a jab.
Galanos lands a jab.
Galanos throws a looping overhand right but Stedman ducks down to avoid it.
Stedman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Stedman wants to clinch but Galanos slips to the side
and Galanos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Galanos cracks Stedman with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Stedman falls to his knees and Galanos doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hero Galanos!
A relieved looking Hero Galanos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
