Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Biggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Grishin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grishin has chosen Danger as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Biggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Viktor Grishin!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggs throws a poor cross that misses
and Grishin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Biggs thinking.
Biggs throws a right hand that misses
and Grishin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Grishin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A looping hook to the body misses from Biggs. Grishin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Biggs pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Grishin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Biggs as he jumps to the side.
Biggs scores with a nice head shot.
Biggs throws a series of punches but Grishin moves out of range.
Biggs lands a really nice looking cross but Grishin seems unphased.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grishin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Biggs.
Biggs throws a series of strikes that have Grishin backpedaling.
A punch combination from Biggs misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Biggs clobbers Grishin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Biggs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grishin circles away quickly and effectively.
Biggs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grishin is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Biggs with a body shot.

Grishin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Grishin with a nice head shot there.
Grishin trying to control but Biggs is working from the bottom.
Biggs being controlled here, momentarily.
Grishin postures up in Biggs's guard and throws a big left but Biggs blocks it.
Grishin with a nice head shot there.

Grishin passes Biggs's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Grishin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Biggs is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Grishin scores with a couple of nice shots.
Grishin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Biggs won't allow Grishin to pass to mount.
Grishin throwing shots but Biggs is blocking nicely.
Grishin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Grishin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Grishin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Grishin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Grishin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Biggs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Biggs has hold of Grishin's hands but Grishin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Grishin working the head and body with strikes.
Grishin not doing much here.
Grishin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Grishin looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grishin connects with a nice short shot to Biggs's temple.


Biggs is rocked!


It looks like Justin Biggs has been cut.

Biggs actively working from the bottom here.
Grishin moves into full mount! Biggs won't be happy about that!
Grishin with the ground and pound from mount.
Oh Biggs is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grishin breaks from Biggs's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Biggs takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Grishin's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Grishin!
