Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Hunt struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The key to victory for Dean Bennett has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hunt throws out a loose jab but Bennett uses good head movement to avoid it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bennett.
Bennett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hunt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hunt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bennett.
Bennett throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hunt avoids a punch combination nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hunt wants to get back to striking at distance but Bennett won't allow it.
Bennett wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hunt has him pressed against the cage.

Bennett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bennett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hunt throws a right hand that Bennett ducks under and follows up with a left that Bennett also avoids with ease.

Hunt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bennett seems to have got his legs back now.
Bennett smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A big head kick from Bennett and Hunt is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Whack! Bennett lands a heavy head kick that drops Hunt. The ref tackles Bennett to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Hunt was done.
