Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mateusz Kosinski!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Kosinski is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rogers is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kosinski to the mat. Kosinski regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Rogers remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

A jab lands there for Rogers.
Kosinski looks to land a combination but Rogers avoids it well.
Kosinski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rogers counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kosinski throws a lazy head kick
and Rogers counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kosinski is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Rogers misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rogers lands a damaging elbow.
Rogers is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kosinski is defending well.
Rogers drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kosinski pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rogers moves out of range as Kosinski throws a body kick.

Kosinski forces Rogers back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kosinski tries to circle away but Rogers has him pinned against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Rogers's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rogers is trying to drag Kosinski to the mat but Kosinski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mateusz Kosinski will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
