Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poto Tupu!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rahman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rahman is looking to slow Tupu down with leg kicks.
Rahman misses with a head kick.
Rahman attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Tupu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rahman finds it's way round the side to connect with Tupu's head.

It looks like Poto Tupu has been cut.
Rahman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tupu checks the leg kick nicely there.
A little jabbing left from Tupu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rahman scores with a leg kick.
Rahman throws a hook but Tupu blocks it.
Tupu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tupu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rahman throwing a counter right hand but Tupu manages to avoid it.
Rahman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tupu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tupu throws a low kick but Rahman avoids it.
Tupu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tupu lands with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tupu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rahman but Rahman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tupu lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Rahman sprawling to the canvas. Tupu follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Rahman hang on?

Rahman is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tupu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Oh Rahman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tupu is looking for a kimura but Rahman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tupu to get the leverage.
Tupu passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rahman!

Rahman is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Tupu has taken his back.

Tupu has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Rahman! Can he survive? No! He's out! Tupu gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

The defeated Mujibur Rahman had this to say: 'Nekst time mi cut you, cut you baaad!'.
