The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frey connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Williams momentarily.
Frey thuds his right hand into Williams's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Williams takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Williams tries for a takedown but Frey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Frey throws a series of strikes that have Williams backpedaling.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Williams's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Frey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Williams scrambles back to his feet.
Frey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Frey cracks Williams with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Williams shoots in for a takedown but Frey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Frey tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
