Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Hooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hooks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Again. Brendan Parsons has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hooks misses with a wild combination.
Hooks forces Parsons back against the cage and clinches.
Parsons is trying to stall.
Come on Parsons - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Parsons holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Parsons gets control of Hooks's arms and successfully pulls guard. Parsons will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Parsons throws a big counter combination but Hooks scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hooks pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Parsons back to the cage. Hooks follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Brendan Parsons has been cut.
Hooks darts in and clinches Parsons up against the cage.

Parsons is struggling to control the position.

Hooks lands a left and a right that send Parsons crashing to the mat, dazed. Hooks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Justin Hooks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hooks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Justin Hooks was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
