Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Gonon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucious Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lucious Timmons!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmons feints a jab promting Gonon to slip. Timmons then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gonon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Terry Gonon has been cut.
Gonon has managed to clinch.
Gonon slows down the pace here.
The referee calls for Timmons to work.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Gonon.
Timmons is trying to maintain a safe position but Gonon gets an underhook and turns Timmons into the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonon tries to pull guard but Timmons holds him up against the cage and eventually Gonon drops back down to his feet.
Gonon has had enough of the clinch but Timmons keeps him there for the moment.

Still in the clinch, Timmons scores with a nice short uppercut.

Gonon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Timmons after a bit of a struggle.

Timmons has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Gonon goes down! Timmons dives on top of him - Gonon manages to get guard.
Gonon is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Timmons wanted to stand there but Gonon had control of the position.
Oh Gonon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Timmons must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gonon is trying to keep Timmons in close.
Timmons wants to stand and escape but instead Gonon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Timmons is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Timmons is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Timmons pushes Gonon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Timmons closes the distance and clinches.

Timmons lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gonon backwards.
Timmons unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Gonon! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Timmons is unloading with more strikes now! Gonon drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
