Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zhukov throws a big counter combination but Chandler scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Zhukov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As Zhukov backs off Chandler throws a huge counter combo but Zhukov manages to avoid it all.
Davon Chandler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhukov fails to land with a series of punches.
Zhukov looks to land a body kick but Chandler moved away.
Chandler goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Zhukov tries to sprawl but Chandler drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Chandler throwing shots but Zhukov is blocking nicely.
Chandler is trying to control the action in half guard but Zhukov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Chandler thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Zhukov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Zhukov wants to get back to his feet.
Chandler thows a huge punch but Zhukov dodges it nicely.

Chandler lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Zhukov gets back to full guard.
Zhukov seems keen to control Chandler's posture.
Chandler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Zhukov manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Zhukov is pressed up against the cage. Chandler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zhukov down to the mat. Zhukov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Chandler scores with a jab to the jaw.
Zhukov has Chandler up against the cage in a clinch.
Chandler misses with a knee to the head.

Zhukov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A nice combination there by Chandler.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zhukov lands with an uppercut that bounces Chandler off the cage and back into range.
Zhukov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Zhukov swats away the attempt to clinch by Chandler.
Chandler throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Zhukov counter with a right hand.
Chandler scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Zhukov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chandler circles away.
Chandler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chandler looks winded!
Zhukov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Zhukov slips a jab and a cross from Chandler.
Zhukov tries to counter with a takedown but Chandler is quick to defend against it.
Chandler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zhukov.
Zhukov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Zhukov lands a nice looking kick to the body. Chandler takes a step back to recover.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zhukov throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Chandler's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Zhukov dives in looking to finish as Chandler flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Zhukov's strikes! Zhukov is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Chandler's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Chandler was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
