And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St Agaupius lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hicks tries to close the distance and clinch but St Agaupius swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

St Agaupius stuffs the takedown attempt from Hicks. Hicks gets slowly back to his feet.
Hicks sets himself, and St Agaupius steps forward looking for the clinch! Hicks avoids it this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

St Agaupius shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hicks is trying to defend but St Agaupius finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well St Agaupius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
