Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Real Deal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotten comes to the cage accompanied by Lynard Skynard- Simple Man. Real Deal has chosen Man Behind The Wire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Real Deal closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rotten has Real Deal pressed against the cage, preventing Real Deal from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rotten misses with a knee to the head.

Real Deal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Real Deal throws a head kick that misses.
Real Deal misses with a body kick.
Rotten wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Rotten tries to clinch but Real Deal is having none of it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Real Deal. Rotten does a little dance to reset his feet.
Real Deal keeps the fight on the outside.
Real Deal tries a head kick but it misses.
Rotten doesn't manage to clinch there - Real Deal circles away.
Real Deal misses with a head kick.
Real Deal throws a series of strikes that have Rotten backpedaling.


It looks like Eddy Rotten has been cut.
Real Deal has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rotten is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Real Deal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rotten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Real Deal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rotten tries to close the distance and clinch up but Real Deal swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rotten is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Real Deal throws a head kick but Rotten moves out of range.
Real Deal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rotten tries to clinch but Real Deal is having none of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Real Deal tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Real Deal wants to break free but Rotten has control.
Rotten landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

It looks like Evan Real Deal has been cut.
Real Deal blocks the elbow strike.
Rotten scores with a knee to the head.
Real Deal avoids the elbow strike from Rotten, against the cage.
Rotten throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Real Deal wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rotten has him pressed against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rotten just misses with a elbow thrown towards Real Deal's brow.
Rotten with a knee to the head.
Rotten lands a damaging elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rotten has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Real Deal - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Rotten, and another! Real Deal is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Eddy Rotten!
In his post fight interview, Eddy Rotten started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
