Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichi Takeshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Rad!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi misses with a body shot.
Rad connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Takeshi clinches with his opponent.
The referee is keeping an eye on Takeshi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rad tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Takeshi's elbow.
Rad lands a right hand that snaps the head of Takeshi backwards.
Takeshi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rad gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Takeshi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rad up against the cage.

Takeshi works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Takeshi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Takeshi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rad is looking to stand up but Takeshi isn't so interested in that idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Takeshi darts in and clinches Rad up against the cage.

Rad pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Takeshi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rad uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Takeshi.

Rad tries a quick counter leg kick but Takeshi is wise to it.

Rad is looking to slow Takeshi down with leg kicks.
Takeshi blocks a low kick nicely.
Rad lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Takeshi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rad.
Rad misses with a low kick.
Rad connects with a jab.
Kyle Rad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rad throws a head kick that misses.
Takeshi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Takeshi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rad defends it nicely.
Takeshi ducks right into an uppercut from Rad.
Takeshi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takeshi darts in looking for a takedown but Rad gets double underhooks and turns Takeshi into the cage.

Some bone on bone action there as Takeshi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takeshi has control of Rad's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rad regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rad is in a horrible position here. Takeshi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Takeshi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Takeshi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

An out of breath Ichi Takeshi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
