The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacks misses with a straight right.
Juice lands an overhand right.
Jacks with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Juice to score with a decent uppercut.
Juice misses with an uppercut.
Jacks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Juice throws out the jab.
Juice uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jacks.
Jacks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jacks throws a body punch but Juice moves out of range.
Juice looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Juice works the jab nicely.
Jacks misses with a wild body shot.
Juice now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Jacks uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Juice.
Jacks attempts a counter takedown but Juice avoids it well and moves away.
Jacks lands a nice looking body shot.
Jacks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Juice appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Jacks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jacks takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Jacks shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jacks is working for a kimura but Juice is defending it quite comfortably.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Still in half guard, Jacks seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Juice tries to kick Jacks off but Jacks keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jacks in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Juice tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jacks!
