Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Vick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cannon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vick pinned against the cage. Vick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cannon clinches with his opponent.
Vick throws a head punch that misses.
Vick is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Cannon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Vick lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Cannon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Vick pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cannon goes for a takedown attempt but Vick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Michael Vick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicky Cannon.

Cannon is looking for a triangle but Vick pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Vick lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Vick makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Vick's corner calls for a 1-2. Vick obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Vick scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cannon in his tracks.
Vick throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cannon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Cannon tries to clinch there but Vick circles away.
Cannon shoots in for a double leg but Vick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cannon tries a head kick but it misses.

Vick throws out a powerful jab.
Vick tries to bum rush Cannon with a series of wild strikes but Cannon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cannon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cannon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vick's waist but Vick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cannon off to one side.
Cannon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vick lands with a hook. Cannon tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cannon tries a head kick but it misses.

Vick stalks Cannon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cannon's face. Cannon staggers backwards, shaken.
Vick could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vick looks to land a combination. Cannon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Vick looks to score with a jab to the body but Cannon is just out of range.
Cannon shoots in for a takedown but Vick shows good takedown defense.
Vick catches Cannon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cannon slips under a jab.
Vick is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Vick blocks a head kick by Cannon.
Vick scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Vick paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Cannon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vick's waist but Vick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cannon off to one side.

A jab lands there for Vick.

Vick prevents Cannon from getting back to his feet.
Cannon trying to keep a closed guard but Vick is proving a slippery customer.
Vick is looking to work some ground and pound but Cannon has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vick is posturing up here but Cannon has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Vick tries to roll out but it's too tight and Vick has to tap! Slick submission there by Cannon!
