Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boreste Bardanos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brynden Epicity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bardanos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Kingdom Will Come. Epicity has chosen Doomed User by Deftones as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boreste Bardanos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brynden Epicity!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bardanos lunges at Epicity with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Epicity's hand.

Epicity tries to sprawl but Bardanos drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Bardanos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Epicity is just riding it out for now. Bardanos eventually gives up the hold.
Epicity is looking to control Bardanos's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Epicity avoid being mounted?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Bardanos was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Epicity.

Bardanos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bardanos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boreste Bardanos.
