PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Random Fighter Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rakka Haibane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haibane comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pretenders-Sawano Hiroyuki[nZk]: mica & gemie kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rakka Haibane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Random Fighter Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rakka Haibane!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haibane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fighter Four really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fighter Four bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Haibane's head backwards.
Fighter Four misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Haibane counters with a nice uppercut.
Fighter Four throws a leg kick which misses Haibane's front leg but catches the back leg as Haibane tries to avoid it.
Fighter Four cracks Haibane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fighter Four leaves Haibane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Haibane works over Fighter Four's head and body with a nice combination.
Random Fighter Four seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fighter Four slips under a jab from Haibane.
Haibane shoots in but Fighter Four avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fighter Four swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A jab from Fighter Four finds it's way through Haibane's defenses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haibane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fighter Four stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Haibane moves into the clinch successfully.

Haibane tries for a takedown. No joy.
Random Fighter Four has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rakka Haibane.

Fighter Four digs a right hand into Haibane's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Haibane's gas tank.
Fighter Four works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Fighter Four has Haibane pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Haibane is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Fighter Four - that's hurt Haibane badly! Oh, another knee lands and Haibane is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Haibane doesn't seem to be complaining.
