Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Special Kay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Weathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Special Kay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerome Weathers!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weathers looks for the body kick but Kay saw that one coming.
Kay stuns Weathers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Weathers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kay gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice defenses there by Weathers.
Weathers throws out a counter right but Kay avoids it with no problem.
Kay looks to land a combination but Weathers avoids it well.
Kay throws a left and a right that both miss
and Weathers counters with a nice uppercut.
Kay throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Weathers tries to counter by closing the distance.
Kay misses with an uppercut. Weathers saw that one coming.
Nice body punch from Weathers.
Weathers lets loose with a powerful body kick. Kay will feel that in the morning.
Kay misses the shot to the body.
Weathers connects with a single shot there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Weathers closes the distance and pushes Kay back into the ropes.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Weathers.
Weathers misses with the head strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kay tries to land knees in the clinch but Weathers avoids the damage to the body.
Weathers misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Weathers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kay uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Weathers.
Weathers walks into a left hand.
Kay looks to land a combination but Weathers avoids it well.
Weathers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Weathers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Weathers thows a body kick. Kay tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kay is breathing heavily.
Weathers lands with a straight right. Kay didn't see that one coming.

Kay walks into a big right hand from Weathers and goes down! The referee sends Weathers to a neutral corner as Kay gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.


Kay is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A swing and a miss from Kay.
Weathers appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Oh Kay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Weathers lands a right hook to the body.
A thudding body kick lands there by Weathers!
Kay seems to have got his legs back now.
Weathers connects with a solid leg kick.
Kay on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Weathers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nice shot lands for Weathers.
Weathers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Weathers lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Weathers lands a right hook to the body.
Weathers throws a right and a left that both miss.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Weathers is working Kay over against the ropes.
Weathers lands with a left to the head.
Knees to the body from Weathers.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Weathers is pushing Kay up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Weathers lands with a short head shot on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Jerome Weathers should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
That's time! Kay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Weathers lunges at Kay with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kay's hand.
Kay thows a left - swing and a miss!

Weathers clips Kay with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Kay a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Kay throws a body punch but Weathers moves out of range.
Special Kay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kay misses with a hook
and Weathers makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kay throws a combination that misses
and Weathers counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Kay off his feet! Kay crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Kay isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Weathers screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jerome Weathers!
