PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Mustang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Mustang!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen avoids the head kick by Mustang.
Allen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mustang throws a half hearted mid kick.
Allen keeps the fight on the outside.

Allen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mustang tries to roll over but Allen keeps him under control.
Mustang makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mustang.
Allen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mustang keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully.
Mustang is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mustang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Mustang has his foot on Allen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allen works his way back into a safe position though.

Mustang keeping full guard, as Allen tries to pass.
Allen trying to control but Mustang is working from the bottom.
Allen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mustang is keeping the position for now.
Allen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mustang on the ground.
Mustang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Allen is posturing up here but Mustang has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Allen tries to roll out but it's too tight and Allen has to tap! Slick submission there by Mustang!
