Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rich English (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Vosloo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vosloo tries to clinch up but English circles away and keeps his distance.
English swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
English really is a fat lump.

English is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Vosloo is defending well for now.
English wants to break free but Vosloo has control.

English is looking for a triangle but Vosloo pushes his legs off easily.

Vosloo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but English manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vosloo has English in his guard.

English fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
English shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vosloo as he jumps to the side.

Vosloo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

English kicks off Vosloo and gets to his feet.
Vosloo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Rich English has been cut.
English is breathing heavily.

Vosloo doesn't manage to clinch there - English circles away.

English jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vosloo walks away with a smile on his face. English gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich English. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from English enables Vosloo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. English manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Vosloo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Vosloo is working English over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now English is on top in guard.

Vosloo circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! English drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Vosloo follows English to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
