Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ De Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Santos has chosen Deez Nuts - Unfuckwithable as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from De Santos as Black shoots in.
De Santos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
De Santos gets tackled into the cage by Black. Black maintains the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by De Santos.
De Santos taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
De Santos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Black is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
De Santos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Black closes this distance looking for a takedown but De Santos circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

De Santos is pressed up against the cage. Black has hold of a leg and is looking to drag De Santos down to the mat. De Santos avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
De Santos just misses with a punch to the body.
Black will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
De Santos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
De Santos feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Black sprawling to the canvas! Black rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can De Santos finish him?!

TJ De Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from De Santos enables Black to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. De Santos manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Santos wants to stand but Black is controlling the position.
De Santos pulls Black in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Black lands a couple of elbows.
Black pushing down on De Santos's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Black uses his free foot to push down on De Santos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for De Santos.
Black scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish De Santos?
De Santos tries to get back to half guard but can't.
De Santos felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Black controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ De Santos dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Black moves in looking to clinch but De Santos pushes him off.
De Santos goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
De Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Black swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
De Santos moves into range and clinches up with Black.

Black gets underhooks to prevent De Santos's takedown attempt.
Black wants to take the fight to the mat but De Santos manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
De Santos is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Black is defending well for now.
De Santos pushes Black back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Santos pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Black blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
De Santos lands on the inside with an uppercut.
De Santos throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
