Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elisha Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike MIles!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reilly shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Reilly showed some decent athleticism there.

MIles kicks off Reilly and gets to his feet.
MIles should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
MIles throws a solid leg kick but Reilly takes the impact on his shin and smiles at MIles.

MIles throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reilly was covering up waiting for the punch and MIles finishes the takedown easily into guard.
MIles sitting in guard here, content to control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
MIles tries to free his leg and advance position but Reilly is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MIles trying to control but Reilly is working from the bottom.
MIles in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Reilly keeping moving, preventing MIles from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reilly keeping full guard, as MIles tries to pass.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

MIles drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and MIles jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Reilly keeping moving, preventing MIles from controlling successfully.
MIles wants to pass the guard but Reilly is keeping the position.
MIles advances to half guard.
MIles wants to take a breather but Reilly is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
MIles thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Reilly is staying active underneath MIles, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
MIles prevents Reilly from improving his position.
MIles is looking to stall here but Reilly recovers full guard.
MIles trying to control but Reilly is working from the bottom.
MIles is in close to Reilly's body, working some short punches and elbows.

MIles stands and steps away. Reilly gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

MIles gets the takedown into side control.
MIles throwing strikes but Reilly manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Reilly wants to stand but MIles is controlling his arm.
MIles tries to buck Reilly off but Reilly is having none of it.
MIles manages to work his way to half guard, despite Reilly's best efforts.
MIles moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
MIles has his hands on Reilly's head, controlling the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now MIles is on top in guard.


That's four minutes gone in the round.
MIles throws a big elbow that misses.
Reilly looking for a sweep. Not yet Reilly, not yet.
MIles cracks Reilly with a solid left hand.


Reilly is rocked!
MIles is pushing down on Reilly's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reilly is fighting to maintain full guard but MIles has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
MIles throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MIles takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Oh Reilly is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

MIles is trying for a kimura here. Reilly looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! MIles wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mike MIles!
