PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Breneman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zbermat Serlal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serlal has chosen Mortal Kombat as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Adam Breneman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Adam Breneman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zbermat Serlal!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breneman lands with a nice combination. Serlal backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Zbermat Serlal has been cut.

Serlal gets caught napping as Breneman dives in and scores a takedown. Serlal manages to retain guard.
Serlal is trying to control the position but Breneman postures up.
Breneman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

A close round but Zbermat Serlal will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Breneman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Serlal.
Serlal throws a lazy right hand but Breneman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Oooooh!!! Breneman has knocked Serlal down with a huge combo! Breneman steps away and waves a wobbly Serlal back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Serlal takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Serlal tries to keep at a distance but Breneman has taken the fight into the clinch.
Serlal is trying to pull guard but Breneman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Breneman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Serlal after a bit of a struggle.
Breneman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Serlal can do to turn this around?
Serlal jumps guard but Breneman turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Serlal fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Adam Breneman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zbermat Serlal.

Breneman is trying to trip Serlal. He has hold of a leg but Serlal is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Breneman persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Adam Breneman tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
