These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atkins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Atkins is looking to take a break and control but Gandhi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Atkins is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Gandhi off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Gandhi has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Atkins! Can he survive? No! He's out! Gandhi gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
