Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haight Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffery Trott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trott connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Haight Diaz has been cut.

A solid leg kick lands there for Trott.
Diaz throws a series of punches but Trott avoids them all with ease.
Jeffery Trott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz shoots for a takedown but Trott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Trott swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Diaz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Trott defends well and Diaz ends up having to push Trott into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Diaz is trying to get back to full guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Diaz is looking to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Trott. Diaz shrugs it off though.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Diaz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Trott.

Haight Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Trott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Trott looks to land a combination but Diaz avoids it well.
Trott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Trott lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown but Trott shows good takedown defense.
Diaz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Trott looks to score with a jab to the body but Diaz is just out of range.

Haight Diaz's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Trott stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken.
Trott lands with a nice body punch.
Diaz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Jeez, Haight Diaz's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Trott. Trott obviously looking to wear him down.

Trott cracks Diaz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Trott has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Diaz to stand back up!

Diaz is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Haight Diaz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Jeffery Trott decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
