Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eulalio Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez's entrance music is El Party Me Llama. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TupperII throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gonzalez was covering up waiting for the punch and TupperII finishes the takedown easily into guard.
TupperII trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gonzalez's guard.
TupperII looking to sit in guard and control but Gonzalez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gonzalez controls from within his opponent's guard.
Gonzalez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gonzalez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of TupperII's head.
Gonzalez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of TupperII's head.
TupperII working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gonzalez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gonzalez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gonzalez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gonzalez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gonzalez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Gonzalez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down TupperII for as long as he can get away with.
TupperII wants to get back to his feet but Gonzalez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

TupperII is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gonzalez scores with a couple of nice shots.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

TupperII is looking to control Gonzalez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can TupperII avoid being mounted?

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gonzalez lands a big uppercut and TupperII crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but TupperII looks OK. Gonzalez waves TupperII back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
TupperII is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gonzalez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gonzalez.

Gonzalez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that TupperII can do to turn this around?
TupperII stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzalez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzalez is looking to cinch up a triangle. TupperII throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gonzalez's body to avoid the submission. Gonzalez has instead reached around TupperII's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gonzalez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Eulalio Gonzalez!
Eulalio Gonzalez got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
