The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Grayson has knocked Kupkooip down with a huge combo! Grayson steps away and waves a wobbly Kupkooip back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kupkooip thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grayson feints a jab promting Kupkooip to slip. Grayson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kupkooip slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Grayson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kupkooip has time to react.

Jeez, Jesper Kupkooip's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Grayson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kupkooip looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kupkooip has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Grayson finds it's way round the side to connect with Kupkooip's head.
Grayson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
