And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oalognov rushes Da Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oalognov is pressed up against the cage. Da Silva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Oalognov down to the mat. Oalognov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Da Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Oalognov.
Oalognov moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Oalognov's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Da Silva avoids a wild elbow strike from Oalognov.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Oalognov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Oalognov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Oalognov drives through and clinches with Da Silva against the cage.
Da Silva prevents Oalognov from breaking the clinch.
Oalognov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Da Silva blocks the elbow strike.
Da Silva manages to break the clinch.
Da Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Oalognov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oalognov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Da Silva looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oalognov lands a big head kick that sends Da Silva tumbling to the mat! Oalognov takes a step backwards and waves Da Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Marselo Viera Da Silva has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Da Silva steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Oalognov. That one must have hurt.
Oalognov lands with a nice body punch.
Da Silva blocks a head kick by Oalognov.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oalognov gets a clinch.
Oalognov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oalognov misses with a head kick.
Da Silva steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Oalognov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oalognov drops Da Silva with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Da Silva looks back up at him and smiles so Oalognov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Da Silva is rocked!
Oalognov Throws a clean left jab. Oalognov Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Da Silva's chin! Da Silva crumbles to the ground and Oalognov follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Oalognov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Krigniv Oalognov!
