The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osipov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rocha as he avoids it easily.
Rocha looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Osipov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rocha is fending him off so far but Osipov persists. Nope, Rocha circles away and we're back to standing.
Rocha throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
so Osipov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Osipov looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Osipov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rocha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Osipov has managed to get both his arms back between Rocha's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Osipov passes Rocha's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rocha is not content to let Osipov control the position.

Osipov drops an elbow to the side of Rocha's head.
Osipov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rocha defend it? Osipov steps over the head and cranks it - Rocha is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Osipov!
