Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Coutore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Maximilian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximilian has chosen My World as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coutore rushes Maximilian and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Maximilian looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coutore is fending him off so far but Maximilian persists. Nope, Coutore circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maximilian closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Maximilian is stalling here. Coutore is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Maximilian seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Coutore has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Maximilian tries to improve position but can't.
Maximilian is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Coutore asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Maximilian jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Coutore manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Maximilian is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Coutore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maximilian works to advance to full mount. Coutore defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Coutore is squirming around, avoiding Maximilian's attempts to control the action.
Maximilian takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Maximilian gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Maximilian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coutore tries to avoid it but Maximilian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coutore to the ground. Coutore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Maximilian shoots for a double leg takedown but Coutore sprawls well. He's pushed Maximilian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Maximilian bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
