The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taat Pribadi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Soares to the mat! Soares manages to get full guard.

Taat Pribadi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Soares is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Taat Pribadi, into his guard.

Soares stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taat Pribadi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Taat Pribadi holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close round but I would say that Dimas Taat Pribadi will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
