Myles's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop. Hunter is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Can't Be Touched - Roy Jones Jr.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren Myles!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myles throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hunter lands a nice looking body shot.
Hunter looks to land a combination but Myles avoids it well.
Hunter throws the left hand but Myles avoids the punch easily.

Hunter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Myles, pushing him back against the cage.

Myles lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Myles is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hunter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Myles with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Hunter keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Hunter has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Factory. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Myles is keen to just control but Hunter is a slippery customer.

Hunter is looking to escape.
Hunter regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Myles.

Myles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hunter controls Myles momentarily but Myles frees himself.
We've been hearing that Myles has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Myles is fighting to break Hunter's control of his arms but Hunter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hunter is trying to control the position but Myles postures up.

Hunter is looking for a triangle here but Myles uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Hunter manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hunter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hunter thows a huge punch but Myles dodges it nicely.
Myles keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Myles is trying to stand up here but Hunter is controlling him well.
Hunter looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Myles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hunter.

Hunter stops Myles from getting back to his feet.
Hunter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Myles defending well though.
Hunter missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Hunter with the ground and pound but Myles uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Hunter trying to control but Myles is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Myles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hunter throwing strikes but missing.
Hunter won't allow Myles to get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Myles lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hunter moves into the clinch.
Myles is looking to break free of the clinch but Hunter has double underhooks.
Hunter is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Myles stops a takedown attempt from Hunter.

Hunter has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Myles clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Myles trying to get back to his feet but Hunter is in full control for now.
Myles covering up well and avoiding damage.
Myles is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hunter lands a shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Hunter dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Myles showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hunter.
Hunter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Myles defends well and Hunter ends up having to push Myles into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Myles leaves Hunter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Hunter. Those never looked like landing.
Myles throwing a counter right hand but Hunter manages to avoid it.
Myles defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hunter.
It looked like Myles was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Darren Myles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Hunter.

Hunter throws a combination that misses
and Myles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunter misses with a takedown attempt - Myles sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Myles cracks Hunter's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Hunter slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Myles can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Darren Myles!
Darren Myles is the new lightweight champion!
An out of breath Darren Myles thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Justin Hunter was interviewed post fight and said 'This man is so lucky in his victories so far, it is unbelievable! What's he got?!? A couple of fluke victories won't make him the best in this Org! He will go down with the rest of them. I'm still the lightweight champion of the Duels.'.
