Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arto Blomsten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nada darts in looking for a takedown but Blomsten gets double underhooks and turns Nada into the cage.
Frank Nada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nada throws out a loose jab but Blomsten uses good head movement to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nada has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Nada just misses with a punch to the body.
As Nada backs away, Blomsten returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Blomsten uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nada.
And Blomsten counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it.

Nada feints and as Blomsten raises his hands in defense, Nada changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Blomsten holds on and takes a little breather.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Blomsten connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nada momentarily.
Blomsten's corner calls for a 1-2. Blomsten obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Blomsten tries a low kick but Nada avoids it.

Nada shoots in looking for a takedown. Blomsten tries to sprawl out of it but Nada keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blomsten manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Nada has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Blomsten.
Blomsten lands a nice hook to Nada's body. Nada takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nada dives in for a single leg takedown but Blomsten sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nada is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blomsten.
Nada takes one on the button.
Blomsten's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nada under the eye.
The crowd cheers as Blomsten lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nada doesn't seem phased though.

Nada is rocked!
Blomsten lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Nada falls backwards - clearly groggy! Blomsten dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
