These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motions rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grappling moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The Motions seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grappling lands a body shot.
Motions misses the shot to the body.
Grappling lands a head kick. Motions smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Motions throws an overhand right that lands on Grappling's shoulder, as Grappling tries to avoid the shot.

Grappling takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Motions fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Grappling keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Motions scores with a decent looking hook.
Motions misses with a two punch combination.
Motions lands a left and a right that sends Grappling crashing to the canvas! Motions dives into mount looking to finish!

Grappling is rocked!

It looks like Striker Grappling has been cut.

Grappling is still in real trouble! Can Motions finish him?
Motions's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grappling can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
