Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Temel Dilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boyd McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire has chosen Five Finger Death Punch - The Way Of The Fist as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 2, fighting out of New York, Boyd McGuire!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dilli attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Dilli shoots in looking for a takedown but McGuire manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dilli's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dilli lands a leg kick that knocks McGuire off balance momentarily.
McGuire displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dilli throws out the jab.

McGuire stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McGuire might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Dilli has got the better of the exchanges.

McGuire lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dilli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A nice inside leg kick there by Dilli. That's going to slow McGuire down.
Dilli with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McGuire to score with a decent uppercut.
McGuire misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looks like Temel Dilli has been cut.
McGuire takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dilli is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McGuire can do to turn this around?

Dilli manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McGuire manages to get himself to full guard.

Dilli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McGuire swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dilli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McGuire has his foot on Dilli's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dilli works his way back into a safe position though.

Dilli is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dilli accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McGuire is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McGuire throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dilli does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
And McGuire tries to counter it with a takedown but Dilli pushes his down on his head and steps out.

That was a close second round but I would say that Temel Dilli will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Temel Dilli.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dilli, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
