Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hoksbig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kk Kk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kk has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Kk Kk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoksbig gets the takedown into side control.
Kk looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hoksbig seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kk for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoksbig is working to tighten his grip on Kk's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kk has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hoksbig is really squeezing tight and eventually Kk passes out! Hoksbig breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
