Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Duncan Macleod!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joey Karate!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Karate.
An inside leg kick lands from Karate.
Macleod throws a half hearted mid kick.
Macleod misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Joey Karate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karate tries a head kick but it misses.
A good leg kick by Karate.
Macleod pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Macleod has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA London in the buildup to the fight.
Macleod fails to land with a series of punches.
Macleod tries a head kick but it misses.
Karate lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Karate gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Karate makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Macleod manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karate lands with a kick to the temple. Macleod shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Duncan Macleod has been cut.
Macleod tries a low kick but Karate avoids it.
Macleod plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Karate misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Macleod lands with a kick to the temple. Karate shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Karate goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Karate chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Macleod can pounce on him.
Macleod misses with a few strikes there.
Karate throws a powerful right kick. Macleod tried to block low but the kick was high! Macleod was taken right off of his feet! Karate jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Joey Karate!
An out of breath Joey Karate thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
