Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Rottwel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton comes to the ring accompanied by Voices. Rottwel has chosen Land of the Free as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Igor Rottwel enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Igor Rottwel!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton feints a jab promting Rottwel to slip. Orton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rottwel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Igor Rottwel has been cut.
Rottwel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Orton as he avoids it easily.

Rottwel dives in and grabs Orton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orton pushes down on Rottwel's head and hops out.
Rottwel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Orton finds it's way round the side to connect with Rottwel's head.
Rottwel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Orton as he avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Orton on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Orton lands with a straight right. Rottwel didn't see that one coming.
Orton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Rottwel gets the takedown into side control.
Orton is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That was a close round but I would say that Rick Orton will probably get the nod.

Rottwel shoots in for a double leg but Orton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rottwel is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Orton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Orton has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Rottwel shoots for a double leg takedown but Orton sprawls well. He's pushed Rottwel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Orton counters with a huge left! Rottwel is in big trouble! He's backing up but Orton isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Rottwel from any more damage. A dominating finish by Orton!
