Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Karasev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilder has chosen Talkin' Da Hardest as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karasev misses with a looping left.

Karasev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Karasev swings for the body but Wilder moves out of range.

Karasev throws a nice looking combination but Wilder bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wilder tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Karasev was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilder.

Karasev manages to break the clinch.
Karasev misses with a series of wild punches.
Karasev scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A jab lands there for Wilder.

Wilder throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karasev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Karasev throws a series of punches but Wilder avoids them all with ease.
Wilder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Karasev appears to be looking for a big counter.

Wilder sends Karasev crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wilder is motioning to the referee to let Karasev up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Karasev is rocked!
Karasev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oh Karasev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wilder gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Karasev.
Karasev lands with an overhand left.
Karasev seems to have got his legs back now.
Karasev blocks a jab.
Wilder waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Karasev.
Karasev throws a hook but Wilder avoids it easily.
Karasev getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Karasev throws a body shot but no joy.

Wilder feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Karasev sprawling to the canvas! Karasev rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wilder finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karasev fails to land with a series of punches.
Karasev takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wilder throws an uppercut from hell that sends Karasev clean off his feet! He's out cold! Wilder stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
