Gharibi misses with an uppercut. Thomas saw that one coming.
Thomas throws a body shot but no joy.
Gharibi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomas moves away.
Gharibi throws a right and a left that Thomas avoids nicely.
Thomas misses with a straight right.
We've been told by Gharibi's head coaches at Golden Child Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gharibi throws a body shot but no joy.
Gharibi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gharibi looks to throw the jab but Thomas is out of range.
Gharibi lands a big right hand that sends Thomas crashing to the mat! Gharibi stays standing though and waves Thomas back to his feet!
It looks like Dave Thomas has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gharibi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gharibi drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Thomas right on the button. Thomas goes down! Gharibi follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Gharibi gets the win via TKO!
