Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oswald Cobblepot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans has chosen Young Guns - Bones as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oswald Cobblepot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Evans!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobblepot uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Evans has time to react.
A lazy body kick from Cobblepot
and Evans cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cobblepot has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rusterman's in the buildup to the fight.
Cobblepot swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Evans lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Oswald Cobblepot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cobblepot fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Evans checks it well.
Evans wants to counter with a clinch but Cobblepot pushes him away.
Cobblepot throws a hook to the side of Evans's head but Evans sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cobblepot swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cobblepot loads up on a big right hand but Evans slips the punch.
Evans tries to counter by closing the distance.
Cobblepot just misses with a punch to the body.
Evans throws a counter combo.
Evans wants to clinch up but Cobblepot keeps it at a distance.
Cobblepot lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cobblepot connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Cobblepot works Evans's body with a nice hook.
Cobblepot fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Cobblepot lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Cobblepot - that will leave a mark!

Evans tries to clinch but Cobblepot moves away
and Cobblepot counters with an outside leg kick.
Cobblepot throws a half hearted mid kick.
Evans is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Evans on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Cobblepot lands with a shot to the body.
Cobblepot swings away with a body shot that misses
and Evans counters with a stiff right hand.
Cobblepot throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Evans sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Evans steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Cobblepot.
Cobblepot jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Cobblepot lands with a shot to the body.
Cobblepot keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cobblepot with a nice cross.
Cobblepot throws the left hand but Evans avoids the punch easily.
Cobblepot swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from Cobblepot. Evans does a little dance to reset his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Evans! But no joy.
Evans throws a body shot but no joy.
A left lands for Cobblepot.
Cobblepot swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cobblepot throws a sloppy body shot
and Evans counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cobblepot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Cobblepot throws a nice outside leg kick.
Evans walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cobblepot swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Evans on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Evans uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cobblepot.
Cobblepot throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cobblepot looks to land a left hand but Evans moved out of range nicely.
Cobblepot feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Evanss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Evans throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like Cobblepot was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Evans.
Cobblepot tries a low kick but Evans avoids it.
A little jabbing left from Evans on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Evans takes a jab right on the kisser.


Evans is rocked!
Cobblepot drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Evans right on the button. Evans goes down! Cobblepot follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Cobblepot gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oswald Cobblepot!
