Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jedrek Wlodar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tim Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jedrek Wlodar!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wlodar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Reid manages to get back to half guard.
Reid tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Reid works his way to full guard. Good work.
Wlodar stopping the sweep attempt from Reid.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reid keeping full guard, as Wlodar tries to pass.
Wlodar trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Reid manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Reid throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wlodar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wlodar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reid is aware though and is defending well.
Reid distracts Wlodar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Reid with a flurry of punches that miss.

Wlodar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Wlodar has his feet on Reid's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Wlodar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reid was covering up waiting for the punch and Wlodar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Reid looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wlodar is one step ahead there.
Reid is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wlodar is controlling him.

Reid throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wlodar chips away with some ground and pound.
Wlodar preventing the sweep.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wlodar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wlodar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Reid throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Wlodar is stalling in the full guard.
It looks like Wlodar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Reid pushes Wlodar off and scrambles back to his feet.
Reid misses with a takedown attempt

and Wlodar counters with a head kick that drops Reid to the mat! Reid scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


Reid is rocked!

Wlodar rushes Reid and presses him up against the cage.
Oh Reid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wlodar pulls guard successfully.
Wlodar wants to sweep here but Reid controlling him for the moment.

Wlodar is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wlodar has Reid pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wlodar pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Reid tumbling to the mat - Wlodar dives into Reid's guard.

Wlodar gets to his feet - Reid follows without any prompting.
Reid seems to have got his legs back now.
Wlodar fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reid moves in looking to clinch but Wlodar pushes him off.
Reid tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wlodar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wlodar clinches.
Wlodar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Reid.
Wlodar stops a takedown attempt from Reid.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Reid. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reid is breathing heavily.

Wlodar jumps guard and drags Reid to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Wlodar pulls Reid in close to his closed guard and prevents Reid from doing any damage or advancing position.
Reid trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Reid is looking to clinch but Wlodar is avoiding it.

Wlodar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reid sprawls well initially but Wlodar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wlodar stops Reid from getting back to his feet.
Wlodar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Reid knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Reid flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Still in half guard, Wlodar seems content to control.

Wlodar is nestled in close to Reid, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Reid moves into full guard.
Reid is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Wlodar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reid pulls his head out easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wlodar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Wlodar pushes Reid off but Reid dives into side control.
Wlodar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wlodar gets back to full guard.
Reid lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Reid throws a big elbow that misses.
Reid trying to control the position from guard on top but Wlodar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Reid moves in looking to clinch but Wlodar pushes him off.
Wlodar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Reid has his foot on Wlodar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wlodar works his way back into a safe position though.

Wlodar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Jedrek Wlodar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Wlodar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Reid!
Reid is looking to reverse the position.
Wlodar working the body and head with strikes.
Reid sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Reid throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Reid thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wlodar stands up from Reid's guard - Wlodar perhaps looking for a knockout.

The fighters circle momentarily. Wlodar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Wlodar moves into the clinch successfully.
A nice left hand lands by Reid.
Reid can't get the takedown.

Wlodar has picked Reid up - he's going for a ride! Wlodar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Reid flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Wlodar controlling the action here.
Reid missing with punches from the bottom.

Wlodar escapes and gets back to his feet.
Reid is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Wlodar has managed to clinch.

Wlodar turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reid tries to buck Wlodar off but Wlodar is having none of it.

Wlodar advances to mount.
Wlodar looking to control and managing it successfully.

Wlodar is trying to take his opponent's back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wlodar with a couple of short strikes.

Wlodar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well Wlodar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
