The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlov keeps the fight on the outside.
Pavlov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pavlov wants it to stay on the feet.

Dim gets caught napping as Pavlov dives in and scores a takedown. Dim manages to retain guard.
Dim wants to sweep here but Pavlov controlling him for the moment.

Pavlov is pushing down on Dim's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dim is fighting to maintain full guard but Pavlov has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dim on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dim tries to get out of the position.
Dim knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pavlov on the ground.
Dim is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Pavlov lands a big shot there that rocks Dim but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Dim tries to hold on but Pavlov pushes him away.

Dim is in a horrible position here. Pavlov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Pavlov fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dim tries to reverse the position but Pavlov maintains control.

Pavlov has hold of Dim's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dim manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dim tries to lock up and control but Pavlov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pavlov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Dim tries to hold on but Pavlov postures up.
Pavlov loads up with a big shot that hurts Dim! He's pulled Pavlov in close but Pavlov has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Dim survive? More strikes from Pavlov and Dim is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
