The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Leak tries a head kick but it misses.
Leak misses with a looping left.

Leak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Leak prevents Williams from improving his position.
Leak not doing much here.
Williams trying to hold on to Leak's head to control him but Leak postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

A telegraphed right hand from Leak misses the target.
Williams takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Williams clobbers Leak with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Leak throws a lazy uppercut
and Williams counters with a straight right hand.
Leak jabs Williams right on the nose. Williams blinks but takes it well.
Leak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leak jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've been told by Williams's head coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Williams takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And Williams counters with a quick kick to the body but Leak blocks it.
Leak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Williams sprawls well. Williams wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Leak gets slowly back to his feet.
Williams throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Leak looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range.
Williams misses with a low kick.
Leak looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Williams looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Leak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it.
Leak lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Williams misses with an uppercut.
Williams fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Leak is out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Williams counters with a crisp right that sends Leak to the canvas! Williams follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
