PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Ibrahim Chaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anuwat Kaewsamrit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaka kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Run The Jewels featuring Zack De La Rocha - Close Your Eyes. Kaewsamrit has chosen Trad *Round 4* as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Anuwat Kaewsamrit told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chaka pushes Kaewsamrit up against the ropes in a clinch.
Chaka lands with a left to the head.
Chaka misses with a body punch.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Kaewsamrit just misses with a elbow thrown towards Chaka's brow.
Kaewsamrit misses with a punch on the inside.
Chaka throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kaewsamrit throws a head punch that misses.
Kaewsamrit blocks an elbow strike from Chaka.
Kaewsamrit swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Chaka throws an elbow but it misses.
Chaka misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kaewsamrit.
Kaewsamrit misses with a punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chaka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kaewsamrit tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Chaka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kaewsamrit moves out of range of the body kick from Chaka.
Kaewsamrit checks the leg kick nicely there.
Chaka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chaka misses with a double jab
and Kaewsamrit counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaewsamrit tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Chaka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chaka bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kaewsamrit takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Chaka misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kaewsamrit counters with a straight right hand.
Kaewsamrit throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kaewsamrit wants to clinch.
Kaewsamrit lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Chaka is rocked!
