Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Byron Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Tsuyoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Tsuyoi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith is looking to clinch but Tsuyoi is avoiding it.

Smith decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Tsuyoi sneaks out the side door and pushes Smith away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Smith moves into range and clinches up with Tsuyoi.
Tsuyoi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smith avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Tsuyoi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith stuffs the takedown.
Smith is looking for a counter combo.
Tsuyoi looks winded!
Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tsuyoi but Tsuyoi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Smith drives through with a takedown into Tsuyoi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tsuyoi to the ground. Smith is now in Tsuyoi's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Byron Smith will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Tsuyoi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Smith closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tsuyoi quickly recovers to half guard.

Tsuyoi has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Smith is on him like a limpet, forcing Tsuyoi back against the cage.
Smith tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tsuyoi smiles and moves away.
Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Tsuyoi takes the fight into the clinch.

Tsuyoi jumps into guard, dragging Smith to the mat.

Smith stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tsuyoi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tsuyoi wants it to stay on the feet.

Tsuyoi shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Smith gets a takedown into half guard.
Tsuyoi wants to control but Smith is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Smith is nestled in close to Tsuyoi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Smith looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Smith is keen to just control but Tsuyoi is a slippery customer.

Smith is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tsuyoi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tsuyoi has escaped and now he's on top!

Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Smith has his foot on Tsuyoi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tsuyoi works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well Tsuyoi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
