Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monroe Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alec Morningstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillard with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Morningstar to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Monroe Dillard has been cut.

Morningstar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dillard on his heels. He'll look to pass Dillard's guard now, I'm sure.
Morningstar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morningstar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Dillard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Morningstar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dillard's guard.
Morningstar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dillard is trying to hold Morningstar in close to prevent damage but Morningstar has managed to pass into half guard.

Dillard is trying to maintain the position but Morningstar is very close to passing his half guard.
Dillard is not content to let Morningstar control the position.
Morningstar slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dillard closes the distance and clinches up with Morningstar, looking for a takedown. Dillard pushes Morningstar against the cage but Morningstar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Morningstar lands a big head kick that sends Dillard tumbling to the mat! Morningstar takes a step backwards and waves Dillard back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dillard is rocked!
Alec Morningstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morningstar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dillard, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Dillard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morningstar stalling.

Morningstar jumps into guard, dragging Dillard to the mat.

Morningstar pushes Dillard off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Morningstar closes the distance looking for a takedown. Morningstar picks Dillard up and slams him brutally to the floor. Dillard is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
